St. Louis Art
Museum World-renowned collections include arts from African, American,

World's Fair.
Contemporary Art Museum St.
Louis This important cultural center focuses on the creation and
exhibition of works by contemporary emerging artists. It is located in the
Grand Center Creative and Cultural District of St. Louis.
The Chatillon-DeMenil Mansion Located in
Benton Park, this historically important museum is one of the only remaining
examples of Greek Revival architecture in St. Louis. The mansion was originally
built in 1848, updated in 1861, and today contains many examples of period
furniture and examples of the original architecture. The museum also houses the
largest permanent collection of memorabilia from the 1904 World's Fair.

Opera Theatre of St.
Louis Opera Theatre presents traditional and contemporary operas
performed by young, dynamic singers with a unique presentation: the music is
sung in English in the intimate setting of a small theatre.

Sheldon Concert
Hall The Sheldon is one of St. Louis' greatest cultural resources. It
hosts over 300 events annually in a wide range of musical styles, and features
the greatest artists in their fields such as: José Carreras, Herbie
Hancock, Doc Watson, Joan Baez, Willie Nelson, Julian Bream, and Jessye Norman.
City Museum Enter a magical
world of interactive art designed to bring out the child in you. World Aquarium
occupies the second floor of the museum and features over 10,000 watery
creatures!
The Fox
Theatre The Fox Theatre, one of the most magnificent movie theatres ever
built, was restored in 1981 to the tune of $2 million. Hear the astounding
four-manual Wurlitzer organ, one of five of its type; marvel at the 2,000-pound
chandelier that shines with 2,264 pieces of jeweled glass. Tours are conducted
every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 10:30 am. No holidays.
